If you want to return to your hotel earlier, you can take the T-bane (LINE 1) climbing down the mountain (departs every 15 minutes) a very nice 35 minute mountain train journey with view over Oslo city. When you leave the restaurant you will find a walkway from the street to the right and up the mountain, it takes about 5 minutes to walk to the T-bane station.
